Shin Megami Tensei IV Was Made To Show That Social Games Arent Everything

Added: 05.06.2013 9:17 | 15 views | 0 comments

"Atlus is enjoying Shin Megami Tensei IVs success after selling 188,562 copies at launch, which was roughly 80% of its shipment according to our earlier report. Meanwhile, director Kazuyuki Yamai talked to NicoNico News about the game that he feels contains a hint of life. Yamai considers Shin Megami Tensei IV to be a role-playing game about young men and women whove been caught up in the fight between God and evil, and their various conflicts while their lives open up in front of their eyes. He believes that the story and its unique view of the world is something that can only be experienced through this title.", writes Siliconera.

How Shin Megami Tensei IV Stripped Me of My Gamer Pride

Added: 04.06.2013 18:17 | 17 views | 0 comments

Kotaku: "Ive tended to play games on their default difficulty (although occasionally I still ratchet it up to hard if I want more of a challenge). What I never expected to run into was a game that absolutely destroyed me on the normal difficulty. Enter Shin Megami Tensei IV."

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers Review | DarkStation

DarkStation: "More could have been done to clarify the games myriad battle systems and spruce up the creaky visual engine behind it for less experienced players, most of whom would probably be immediately baffled and turned off by this dated work. Even when armed only with its age and a modern translation, though, Soul Hackers great storytelling and infectious dark spirit make it a forty-hour-plus proposition that long-time JRPG fans should consider."

Time and Eternity Preview: All the Single Ladies | Neoseeker

Added: 03.06.2013 21:20 | 8 views | 0 comments

Neoseeker: Take heart that Time and Eternity is exactly the same experience as what the original game in Japan is, for better or worse. While I wouldn't recommend the game as an an option for fans of JRPGs looking for an alternative between, say, Ni No Kuni and Shin Megami Tensei IV, it does scratch that niche. There's a very particular audience that can't get enough of games like Time and Eternity, and they'll be please to know this is exactly what they want more of. If you think you could be a member of that audience, trust me, there are worse games to test yourself with.
